1. Who are you and what do you want

My name is Tyler Lucas and I want you to have the time of your life at your wedding reception. I've been a wedding DJ for ten years but have provided music for parties since I was 15. I was asked to DJ my first frat party at age 17 and had a radio show in Georgetown Ky for a year.

2. What does it cost man?

 It depends on what you want. My standard price is $500 bucks which includes lights, four hours of music, a free consultation, announcements, and anything else you can possibly think of that would be apart of a standard wedding reception. I have two professional sound systems that I use. If price is an issue, we can adjust the services according to your needs. I don't want price to stand in the way of a good time. I don't require a deposit as I don't want to be given a dime until I perform the service.

3. what happens if you drive off a cliff on the way to my reception.

This is a very good question to ask and Solid Gold's DJ service has proven that nothing can be taken for granted. I will first tell you that I have not missed one event in the ten years that I have been doing this. With that being said, I understand that things happen but it's important to have a plan in place. I always leave my house three hours before any event so if a tire goes flat or if I need to load equipment in another vehicle, I still have plenty of time. If for whatever reason I'm unable to perform the ceremony, I have two other DJ's that I work with and we are always on call for each others events.  The last thing I want a bride to worry about is if the DJ is going to show up for the reception.

4. Why should we go with you instead of one of the big name companies?

First of all I have a great deal of respect for the big name companies and I wish them continued success. The first reason I would reccomend time of your life is price. Bigger companies are going to charge bigger prices because the owner of the company gets a cut of what you pay. All of our DJ's make 100% of the commission so we can afford to keep our prices lower. The second reason I would reccomend going with Time of Your Life is that you get a DJ who will take a personal interest in your event that you will know by the time of your wedding. Many companies just assign a random DJ who will be doing a job. I enjoy the planning process just as much as the actual wedding.

5. What do we do from here?

 This is the easy part. Just send me an e-mail with your wedding date and I will check our availability. I'm sure that between myself and the DJ's I have on staff, we will be able to accomidate your wedding date and have plenty of time for the planning of your wedding.
